Workshop @ Bridge Guitar Festival, Eindhoven June ‘26

Hypnosphere crafts performances that merge ambient textures, real-time improvisation, immersive sound design, and visuals into a fluid, multidimensional experience.

Beyond performance, Hypnosphere is also a research-driven project, exploring new workflows and creative possibilities within immersive audio. Using Ableton Live, the SubSix hexaphonic pickup by Submarine Pickups, and real-time spatial processing, the project investigates how technology, spatial sound, and live interaction can reshape the way music is performed and created.

WORKSHOP & RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Drawing on decades of combined experience in performance, composition, music production, audio technology and higher education, Hypnosphere explores new approaches to musical creation through improvisation, spatial sound design and immersive audio.
Blending live performance, technology and creative research, the project investigates how music can exist not only in time, but in space.

The programme offers conservatories a flexible range of workshops, lectures, coaching sessions and performance formats that can be presented individually or combined into a tailored residency experience. Through hands-on artistic practice and interdisciplinary collaboration, participants are invited to rethink sound not only as something that unfolds in time, but as a living environment that can be shaped, navigated and experienced collectively.

Attie Bauw

Attie has spent most of his professional life in recording studios all over the world, working with artists as diverse as The Nits, The Scorpions, Menace with Bootsy Collins and Maceo Parker, Hans Dulfer, Yulduz, Latoya Jackson, Noa and the Gathering.

In the eighties Attie has learned a lot of working as an assistant-engineer and later as an engineer with world famous producers like Humberto Gatica, Roy Thomas Baker, Keith Olsen, Chris Lord Aldge, Steve Lipson and Mike Shipley, for artists like the Simple Minds and the Stranglers.

Attie is the only Dutch producer to have received Grammy nominations: "Producer of the Year" and "Best Engineered Album" for his production of Fight. This was the band of Rob Halford, who Attie worked with, on the Grammy-nominated Judas Priest album Painkiller. Attie's remix of Kill It (Fight) was "Most Requested Remix on Radio in 1994" in the USA. In 2008 Attie mixed and mastered the in 2009 Grammy nominated "Nostradamus", of Judas Priest.

Eran Har Even

Eran Har Even is an Edison-nominated guitarist, composer, and music educator based in Amsterdam. Known for his unique blend of jazz, contemporary composition, and technological exploration, he has established himself as one of the distinctive voices within the Dutch and international music scenes.

Throughout his career, Eran has performed and recorded with some of the leading musicians in jazz, including Benny Golson, Terell Stafford, Jamal Thomas, Ziv Ravitz, Hermine Deurloo, and Gilad Hekselman. His work continuously explores the space between composition and improvisation, tradition and innovation, and acoustic expression and emerging technologies.

For over 15 years, Eran has been a faculty member at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he teaches guitar, ear training, music theory, and ensemble coaching. He leads the pioneering Remote Hybrid Ensemble, an artistic research project exploring new forms of collaborative music-making through technology. Alongside his teaching, Eran regularly gives workshops and masterclasses at international institutions and festivals.

Eran’s recent projects include Shorter Days, a tribute to the timeless compositions of Wayne Shorter, which received international recognition from audiences and press, and ongoing research into polyphonic guitar techniques, immersive audio, and the future of live performance.
